AMG GT misfire. Ignition was not the cause.

A 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT R190 came in with Bank 1 misfires under high load, frequent limp mode, and a flashing check-engine light. Spark plugs and ignition coils had already been replaced before arrival. The fault remained.

Confirmed Root Cause

Bank 1 high-pressure fuel pump failing internally under load.

Under high load, Bank 1 fuel pressure collapsed to 60 PSI while Bank 2 held stable. Same engine, same conditions, one bank failing.

Is this just a scan?+

No. A scan is only the starting point. The diagnostic includes engineer review, platform data, relevant checks, and a written Fault File.

What is the AED 250 actually for?+

It covers the first diagnostic session, engineer bench time, and the written Fault File. The fee is credited toward approved repair work with us.

Will you just tell me to replace everything?+

No. The point of the diagnostic is to separate proven required work from advisory items. We do not replace parts on a hunch.

What cars do you work on?+

We focus on premium German and performance platforms including Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen Group vehicles.

What if I do not repair with you?+

You still keep the Fault File. The diagnostic is a paid answer, not a trap to force the repair.
